Hey guys Seb here in Santa Monica office lately. I’ve had a lot of clients ask me about tik tok right by now. You’re probably starting to hear about Tik Tok. If you haven’t heard about Tik doc, you’re going to start really hearing about it. I mean, it’s blown up. It’s been blown up for a few years now and it’s by far going to be the next social media platform that’s going to take over. It’s going to be the next Instagram with Instagram was maybe five, six, seven years ago. Right? So you’re thinking it’s business for a brand. I got to get on tech doc, you take a look at Tik TOK and you go, what the heck do I do? What do I create? I have no idea what to do. Right. And I totally understand that feeling. So my piece of advice, before we start getting deep into it is download it, right?
Start consuming the content, follow other accounts, follow their hashtags that have to do with what you’re trying to sell or portray or show or present, whatever that may be right. And consume it and try to understand it and see what people are doing. Understand the trends. You’re going to see that it’s super young, but it’s also super fun and it is extremely addictive, but you’re going to start getting an idea of what that kind of fun light, short content is. And you’re going to have to try to figure out how to adapt to that platform on a brand. You know, so it really totally depends on your business and your brand and what you’re really trying to put out there, but it’s not going to be the same as Instagram or Facebook. You can’t just grab the same piece of content and cut it up and put it in a different format and, and cut the timing and then make it, you know, just fit. It’s not going to work like that.
