Given all the extra time at home, people are on social media and hitting websites like never before!

My take is, don’t just see this as a sales opportunity, take this as an opportunity to leverage the added traffic by providing value in exchange for contact information. Offer a free class, a free download, a discounted service, etc.

Do so by asking for their contact info and get that email list to grow!

-Offer value
-Ask for contact info (form fill)
-Zap all your new contacts into a new list in your email marketing software
-Set up an automation email sending your new contacts the info you promised

Leverage your list by offering your products or services AFTER you provided value.

What’s up guys Seb here in Santa Monica, we’re from today, as most of you are. And I want to talk to you about leveraging all that increased traffic from all the people that are staying home, and they’re on social media, they’re hitting your website and you want to make sure that you capitalized on that by capitalizing. I don’t mean just trying to sell them, but I suggest providing some sort of value in exchange for information. This is like great, great, great chance for you to grow that email newsletter and get a ton of contact information. So when they’re on your homepage, when they’re on your category pages, make sure you offer something. You give them for free, some sort of value, especially now, as people do need that value, they need something for free. They want it, they want to explore something. They want to learn something, whatever it is that you may be able to tie that to your product or brand exchange that for their information. And it’s simple, you can just do that with some sort of pop-up or form collect their email, their name, get that on a spreadsheet, use Zapier, and then connect that over to like a MailChimp or any email marketing software that you may have. So, yeah, make sure you take advantage and leverage all this added traffic and give your audience value until next time guys.
