Having worked with nearly 80 brands to date and over 600 product SKU’s, I can say that it makes a big difference when a company has purpose built into its DNA.
There are many reasons I’m super passionate about purpose-driven businesses but I think these 3 are some of the basics why startups should highly consider integrating a bigger purpose than just raking in dough $🤑$
① Connect with a new, younger and more conscious generation that has a changing and progressive purchasing behavior.
② Your employees will work harder for you because they’ll be INSPIRED by your purpose. Better workplace vibes = increased ROI
③ You’ll love what you do even more! Research shows that having a higher purpose increases happiness & life satisfaction.

What’s up guys. I want to share something with you today that I’m extremely passionate about, and that is building purpose into your company or brands. So if you’re starting something you’re launching something, I highly recommend building purpose right into the DNA of the company. Or if you have an existing one building purpose into it. Now, what I mean by purpose driven brands, think your Toms of the world, your Patagonia is basically any company that’s certified B corporation, whether it is tying a give back for every purchase need, or simply being part of something bigger with the community. Now, three main reasons why I highly recommend that you build this into your business. Number one, you’re going to connect with the new younger, cautious generation. That’s actually making purchasing decisions with their hearts and their brains. And they are actually caring about companies that have something bigger than just selling a product.
Number two, your employees, they’re actually going to feel much more connected with the brand. When there is a higher purpose, they’re not just sitting there working for you to sell, sell, sell. There’s something bigger than them. Therefore, they’re going to work harder for you. They’re gonna be much, much happier. And number three, you’re going to feel better. You’re going to love it. There’s gonna be a higher purpose. You’re gonna be changing the world. You mean making money while you do it and everything, but went guys, I love purpose driven businesses, and I hope you do too. Next time. Peace.
