💪🏽BUILDING BRANDS ON AMAZON
My boy Christopher Lyell is the freaken🤴🏻 of Amazon. No joke, he’s been crushing the game for a few years now. I’ve personally launched a product and sold 4,000+ units myself and one thing I’ve learned about the platform is that it changes as much as the Google algorithm (That’s a digital joke for A LOT in case you didn’t know).
💻 What I mean by saying that it changes, is that the strategy for being successful at selling, is constantly evolving. The key is not only adapting to new selling techniques, but it’s actually about BUILDING A BRAND.
💸 Amazon selling is no longer for the copy-cat or white label product. Don’t get me wrong, finding products and white labeling can sell a ton of units, but eventually enough players get into the game forcing you to drive your pricing down to below profit levels. This slowly kills your product and you’re on to the next white label race. This is NOT scalable.
Only way to survive and build something that lasts is by building a strong brand.
Think long-game, not short.

What’s up guys, Seb here, I’m in the South Bay today with my good friend, Chris LOL over here, the wizard of Amazon, this guy crushes it on Amazon. And I want you Chris, to give us the audience out there, a tip about, um, growing your, not just your sales, but your brand on and off of Amazon. And give us a little insight on this place. So a lot of people may have heard that there’s the opportunity to sell products on Amazon. And the big misconception is selling a product is just selling a product. You really want to create a brand so that you can actually grow a business, grow a following. And that’s how you capitalize on being able to gain customers for the lifetime of your business. And so one of the things that you need to do or people don’t really do at this point, but I think is a missed opportunity is actually building some presence off of Amazon.
Sebastian Naum + Chris:
So you actually build the brand so that people can actually start following and seeing what you’re doing for them as customers, because you could basically, you could sell a ton of product on Amazon for a long time, but if you’re not really building a brand outside of Amazon and outside of just the reviews on Amazon, you’re not going to have that lifetime value, right? You’re not going to have, you’re not going to be able to continue re re upping those customers and getting them to continue buying your product or spread the word about your brand. If you’re just selling just a single person. There you go, guys. So it’s not just about selling products. It’s about building a strong brand. Yep. Perfect. Thanks brother. Appreciate it. Peace.
